Calligraphy on Ribbon takes a village

Last May was a huge month for Eden and Ev Calligraphy! Between envelopes, styled shoots, and signage for weddings it was the most fruitful month so far. In May I was asked to do calligraphy on over 140 ribbons!!!! To say that I was shocked at the number was a vast understatement. In this whole calligraphy journey I have learned to never doubt what I can do if I truly set my mind to something. I love a challenge and this was a true CHALLENGE. In the process of accepting this HUGE job everyone in the household got a terrible virus. The hardest thing about being a work at home mother is well working from home. You have to be a present mom and then slide back to your office and make sure the job gets done.

Each ribbon was a unique color and had to be measured/ cut for lettering purposes. Laying out each ribbon to precision took teamwork. Once all the ribbon were shipped to New York the event planner and her staff had to sort through all the ribbon and style it along the tent that is pictured.
